This series was awarded in the photo competition, Gullsnitt 2014.
Vestre is Scandinavia's leading manufacturer of outdoor furniture for public and private urban environments. They work with the best designers in Norway and Europe, and has received the Award for Design Excellence numerous times. Tank has since January 2014 been working with a new communication and design strategy which among other things resulted in this ad series.
"Oslo by night" is a series of images with footage from more or less well-known places in the capital. The twilight gives a dark and dramatic backdrop to the illuminated furniture, which emerges as the main roles on a stage. The images have been published in major architectural and design magazines in Europe.

Alaskan Husky Tours is run by Ketil Reitan on Røros in Norway and takes tourists on adventure rides during winter. Reitan has been dogsledding for more than 30 years. He has hunted whales in Alaska and has done some of the world’s most extreme dogsled races.

This body of work was done for my final exam in 2006. Usually, when faced with a death sentence, most of us would perhaps sit down, digest the thought, and prepare ourselves for the outcome. But what if the sentence had such a short deadline you didn`t have that much time to think about it? This series focuses on the idea of what a person could do if there was nothing holding them back from the rules we follow and the perfect lives we try to live in our society.
